What does it cost to become a member of the Bel Air travel?

Membership with Belairtravel.com is completely free.

Benefits of membership may include extra discounts on listed pricing and/or exclusive deals for members. Bel Air travel's member services offered through this website require registration.

How will I receive confirmation when I book online?

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with details of your trip, along with a confirmation number. Additionally, our Web Customer Care Department will send you a client statement within 24 hours, which reiterates the details of your reservation. Please review the statement and contact our Web Customer Care Department immediately should any discrepancies arise.

How do I receive my travel documents?

Once your online purchase steps are complete, you will land on a final confirmation page which you should print to act as your temporary receipt. An official confirmation email will be sent to the email provided by you, shortly after your purchase has been completed.

Your electronic tickets (e-tickets) and supporting information will be sent to you by email (to the address you have indicated in your booking form) within 48 hours of a confirmed booking. Please be sure to set the proper email permissions and check your spam filters/ junk mail folders associated with your email account as e-tickets or other Belairtravel.com correspondence may be/ have been accidentally filtered into these folders by your email provider.

How do our customers know that with Bel Air travel, they’re getting the lowest price on their travel plans?

While surfing our site for deals on vacation packages, flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, etc. Our system collects all the available options from airlines, tour operators, consolidators, etc. and organizes these options starting from the lowest price and other criteria selected by the client performing the search (preferred dates, number of passengers, etc.). Should a customer locate an advertised price that is lower than Bel Air Travel’s price for the exact same product, we will match that price as long as it is not below cost. Although we make every concerted effort to provide the lowest pricing, occasionally circumstances that may include group bundle pricing, exclusive pricing agreements blocked space pricing, etc. prevent us from being able to match every quote out there.

Will I have to give my credit card information over the net if I choose to book online?

Yes, it is necessary to do so. Keep in mind however, that it is just as safe using your card on our site as it is in person at a restaurant for instance. Moreover, the rules regulating credit card usage is the same on the internet, as it is for other utilities. All your transactions are protected by SSL technology protocols and normal private network security systems. SSL technology scrambles your credit card information before it even gets to the net. This renders internet purchases very safe.

What if I use someone else's credit card for my purchase?

If you are using a third party credit card (the use of a credit card that does not belong to any of the passengers on file) the booking may not be confirmed. Reservations are only confirmed once a verification process is conducted that mitigates the risk of fraud for that booking. Rates and availability are subject to change until the booking is confirmed (payment is processed).

I have seen an advertised price on a vacation package that differed from the final price I am able to book. How can that be?

This may be a direct result of an unavoidable delay between the third party service provider and the most current tour operator, consolidator or airline selling price. Should there be a discrepancy between the initial advertised price shown on the website and that of the actual tour operator selling price; the latter, confirmed-final price shall prevail. A similar issue may also occur with flights that may temporarily show as available to book until you reach the final stages of the booking. In this case, the flight is most likely sold out and may take several hours to disappear from our site due to flight provider delays.

What if I have made a mistake while booking my trip?

For changes, please contact our office as soon as possible. Depending on the airline and tour operator, you may have to pay a fee in order to make changes to your booking. There is also the possibility that you may not be able to make any changes, as per the tour operator's terms and conditions. Please read these carefully prior to your reservation.

What if the price drops after I completed my reservation?

Please note that rates fluctuate daily and we do not adjust the cost of your purchase. All sales are final

Is the tour operator/airline allowed to make changes to my booking?

Tour operators and airlines try their best to avoid changes to reservations. At times, however, flight times, routing and certain hotel services may be altered. These changes are all governed by TICO. Please refer to the individual operator's "Terms and Conditions", for full details.

What does “Booking Status: pending” mean?

Some bookings are not able to be immediately confirmed and processed. If this is the case, your “Booking Status” in our confirmation email will show as “Pending” until certain issues are/can be resolved. There are several reasons as to why this can occur: a third party credit card may have been used and needs to be verified, names on bookings may be inconsistent or too long, parental consent may be required for an unaccompanied minor, etc.

What if I need to cancel my holiday?

 It is imperative that you read the tour operator's "Terms and Conditions" during the booking process, since cancellation penalties are often at 100%. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance, in order to help you cover some of the circumstances, under which you may be eligible for reimbursement. Product-specific booking Information

Car Rentals:

All car rentals are subject to local taxes and service charges and vary by destination. If you are under the age of 25, there is a young driver's fee of approximately $30 CDN/day. Please refer to the individual car rental company for further details.

Some local charges may be (but are not limited to):

  • additional driver
  • vehicle licensing fee
  • state rental surcharge
  • tire and battery fee
  • customer facility fee
  • airport concession fee
  • one-way drop off fee

The local supplier will require a security deposit, which will be held on the primary driver's credit card, for the duration of the rental. Note, that the primary driver will be unable to rent a vehicle without providing his/her own credit card.

With Dollar Rent-a-Car, you are charged for a full tank of fuel and it is recommended that you return it as empty as possible, as you will not be reimbursed for any unused fuel.

Hotel Only:

Please remember to have your valid documentation, in order to travel in and out of the country. A valid passport and credit card is required to check-in at the hotel.

Special requests, such as room location, adjoining room, bed preferences, etc. - cannot be guaranteed by the tour operator (or the agency), as they are subject to availability. While every attempt will be made to fulfill these requests, the operator and the agency cannot be held responsible, should these requests come back denied.

Should you wish to add air, transfers and/or car rentals, you may contact us at any time and we will be happy to look into pricing and availability for you.

 Air and Hotel Packages:

Please note that any changes made to your reservation, are based on the Tour Operator's Terms and Conditions.

Special requests, such as room location, adjoining room, bed preferences, etc. ' cannot be guaranteed by the tour operator (or the agency), as they are subject to availability. While every attempt will be made to fulfill these requests, the Operator and the Agency cannot be held responsible, should these requests come back denied. Your requests will not be listed on the tickets or voucher, as the Tour Operator/Airline will only list the items that are guaranteed.

It is recommended that children under 18 years of age who are travelling alone or with only one parent/guardian, should have a notarized letter of authorization signed by the parent/ guardian who is not travelling or by both parents/guardians not travelling with the child.

Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions (or Rules and Regulations) of the tour operator, airline or hotel providing your travel services specifically if a traveller is pregnant or has another medical situation or condition. Different rules may apply to different tour operators, airlines, etc. and certain conditions are beyond the control of Belairtravel.com 

For information on Canadian requirements regarding provisions on immunizations, passports, visas, etc. please visit  www.travel.gc.ca/. It is recommended that travellers contact the destination country’s embassy in Canada with further questions before they depart.

Local Departure Taxes:

Some destinations require the passenger to pay departure taxes, which are not pre-collected. Here is a list of the some of the applicable countries/cities.

  • CUBA $25.00 PESOS ' Please travel with Canadian dollars and change it to convertible Peso at the destination airport or hotel. It is recommended that your exchange is in small increments, as most places will not allow you to convert it back. Cuba does not accept American dollars, American Express or any credit cards drawn from U.S banks.

Seat Selection/ Web Check-in:

Please contact Bel Air travel directly for seat selection if you are unable to perform a web-check in. We can assist with most airlines however some exceptions may apply and you'll be instructed to contact that airline directly for your seat selection.

Please call us or visit the airline's website for correct pricing (unless advised otherwise). Please be advised that if you do not pre-select your seats prior to your departure, your seats will be assigned on a "first come, first served" basis, when you check-in at the airport. This means that you may not be sitting next to your travelling companion.

Baggage Allowance:

As all airlines have their individually unique rules, we recommend that you check their website and verify your baggage allowance. This is a necessary step, in order to ensure that you meet the requirements for your flight and avoid any additional fees.
