Nestled to the north of the Saskatchewan River, Edmonton, Alberta is filled with cultural vibrancy. The city is known for its flourishing arts and music population. One of its more popular attractions is the fascinating West Edmonton Mall. Don't let the name fool you as this landmark is much more than a mall. Being the largest combined shopping mall activity centre in all of North America, it also has a casino, IMAX theatre, amusement park, water park, indoor skating, indoor golf and many bars and clubs to choose from. Edmonton's nightlife is booming in the popular area Whyte Avenue, a strip of buildings that contains theatres, comedy venues and bars. The Royal Alberta Museum, Aviation Museum and Railway Museum are just some of the interesting sightseeing attractions. Most interestingly is Fort Edmonton Park, which is Canada's largest history museum. It is a living recreation 1920's midway, including steam train and horse drawn vehicles in action.
